Best Fashion Brand of the Year
Fashion is not always a matter of good taste alone. It is often guided by individual intuition, and frequently by the wish to do oneself some good. Anyone who questions their own consumption will follow that principle in matters of fashion too. Which brand, for instance, attaches importance to good production conditions? Who manufactures with environmentally friendly materials? The values a particular brand embodies – or those of the designer who wants to make a statement through their work – are often decisive factors in a brand's acceptance. To identify the fashion brands with which customers in Germany are genuinely satisfied, the PLUS X AWARD applied a two-stage review process. In addition to a consumer survey, for which the German Institute for Product and Market Assessment questioned men and women aged 20 to 65 from every German federal state about their satisfaction with fashion brands exclusively for the PLUS X AWARD in May 2020, the PLUS X AWARD also sent mystery shoppers into fashion stores at home and abroad, who examined the fashion brands named in the survey and their products with a critical eye.
Exactly 5,108 valid votes were cast – identifying the companies that keep their promises and offer high-quality products and good service, both in the view of consumers and of the PLUS X AWARD mystery shoppers. They deserve the award for the best fashion brand of the year.
These are the best fashion brands of 2020
The “Best Fashion Brand” award is based on an online survey conducted in May 2020. A total of 5,108 valid votes were cast, identifying 27 brands that were awarded accordingly.
