Originally intended for the professional at the mixing desk, the AKG K92 over-ear headphones also deliver mobile or secluded listening for the private sound lover. With a broad frequency range from 16 to 20,000 hertz they bring every fine nuance of the music to the ear undisturbed, even at high sound levels: during development the 40-millimetre professional drivers were loaded at half-second intervals with up to three watts without showing any signs of failure. They are precise and powerful in the bass as well, something many other headphone designs find harder. Added to this is a high level of comfort: the single-sided cable ensures maximum freedom of movement, and the construction with slim aluminium headband arms keeps the weight down to just 200 grams.
