With Miet-Rechtsschutz Sofort and the Extra extension of the policy, ARAG offers its customers a new kind of legal expenses product that also provides retroactive cover – after certain damaging events have occurred. The innovation: by taking out Miet-Rechtsschutz Sofort, tenants enjoy retroactive cover for selected private tenancy matters. One's own home is a very sensitive and emotional area that is felt to be especially worth protecting. ARAG also impresses with the scope of the new insurance product, because the policy provides protection even where no cover existed beforehand. The loss may have occurred up to five months previously. Disputes over service charges, deposit refunds and repairs, for example, can be covered. ARAG draws attention transparently to the three-year contract term.
