As a freely suspended ceiling lift hood that can be retracted and adjusted in height, the berbel Skyline Edge Light is probably one of the most elegant solutions for the kitchen. A motor lowers it on cables from the ceiling to the right height above the hob and draws the cooking vapours away from pots and pans in recirculation or extraction mode. Cooking is also helped by the integrated LED lighting, which can shine at colour temperatures freely selectable via remote control or smartphone app, from a warm white 2,700 to a cool 6,500 kelvin. Depending on the conditions, the Skyline Edge Light can be recessed into the ceiling completely, partially or – with a stainless steel ceiling panel – not at all. Despite its high extraction rate of up to 875 m³/h, it remains comparatively quiet at up to 59 dB.
