From the jury's assessment
The Beurer HC 60 sets out to prove that even a hair dryer can save energy. Beurer certifies that, with a power consumption of only 1,400 watts, it delivers an effect equivalent to an appliance with almost 50 per cent more steam – 2,000 watts. The touch sensor also contributes to saving energy, if on a far smaller scale: it switches the hair dryer on and off when you touch it while the fan is running – or leave it alone. There is also a cool setting to fix the styling, three heat settings and two fan settings. Beneath the soft-touch surface, Beurer has also integrated an ionising function.
