CHIQ’s S.Cones is a reading aid helping children to keep the right distance between their eyes and the book they read. Infrared sensors monitor that a distance of 30 to 32cms is always observed, at a closer distance the eyes would have to focus much more on the text. If the child gets too close or exceeds the ideal distance, an optic and an acoustic signal reminds them to return to the recommended distance. Keeping the right distance prevents fatigue, headache, bad posture and the danger of becoming short-sighted.
