The EVERTHERM continues the story of Eddie Bauer as the inventor of the down jacket: the EVERTHERM model is the lightest and warmest jacket ever developed by Eddie Bauer. What is special about it: the jacket consists of an ultra-thin down layer without quilted seams, thinner than one centimetre. ThinDown technology is the name of the innovative process in which the down is pressed onto thin fleece, creating a hard-wearing layer with a down filling. The process makes classic quilting superfluous – and with it the cold bridges that were unavoidable at the quilted seams. The jacket offers even warmth, is very light (the weight of the women's jacket is a mere 260 grams) and does not add bulk. The insulation holds down to a temperature of minus 29 degrees.
