The open German Maestro GMP400 headphone sets out to be the right tool for professionals too – even during extremely long working sessions. That is what the velour ear pads and the gimbal suspension of the drivers are for, which can rotate freely and adapt to any head shape. Part of this is also a low weight, which the manufacturer achieves through the use of high-quality plastics. The dynamic transducers are based on a sandwich diaphragm intended to offer crystal-clear highs, detailed mids and precise low-end dynamics. They are driven by a copper-clad aluminium wire coil (CCAW). German Maestro headphones have earned a reputation for analytical presentation. Ease of use also includes the multi-jack plug: in one housing it offers plugs for 3.5 and 6.3 mm jack sockets.
