Never has music been listened to such much as today, but often in very bad quality. This is caused by the data reduction of music material. Harman does not give in to this fact and has developed Clari-Fi, an intelligent real-time software that breathes new life into packed titles. The intensity of the interference depends on the source material. Thus, at 64 kB there is more intervention, less at 320 kB and none at all if the source is CD quality. Compared to many MP3 sound refreshers using equalizing and echo, Clari-Fi offers the clearly better result. It turns inacceptable sound quality into tolerable quality. The software is going to be used first in docking stations and also in the Car HiFi area.
