The motor of the Hyla EST is said to last up to 5,000 hours, which in an average household is said to correspond to a service life of 30 to 40 years. For a vacuum cleaner that would be a positively biblical age, all the more so because, thanks to its water filter, it is said to deliver one and the same suction power over its entire service life. Alongside the 800-watt motor, a patented, worldwide unique, self-cleaning separator sits in the hand-made housing. Simple tap water is enough to clean the drawn-in, contaminated air of dirt particles one hundred per cent. This works so well that the EST can also be used as an air purifier at the same time. And when the filter is dirty, you simply pour the water out and replace it with fresh water from the tap.
