The “BioFoam” by IsoBouw is the first hard foam insulation material made of renewable raw materials. The features of BioFoam can be compared to EPS; it is produced based on lactic acid. This means it is 99% organic and thus compostable. Compared to standard polymers it emits 50% less CO2. It is resistant against mould, bacteria, moisture and free of heavy metals.
