The camcorder top model target ambitioned users who want to take exceptional full HD videos in 1920 x 1080/50p format with 36 Mbit/s. The high speed video recording (100fps-500 fps) shows barely perceptible occurrences in the film and is thus the ideal tool for micromotion studies or special effects. Additional equipment of the “GC PX100″ by JVC are a fast F1.2 objective lens, an optical image stabiliser (O.I.S.) and a backlit 1/2.” large 12.8 mega pixel CMOS image sensor. The integrated WLAN (Wi-Fi) technology transports data wirelessly to other devices, enabling for example the smart phone to receive and play video data from the camcorder.
