The CBPesf 4043 refrigerator-freezer from Liebherr is about 20% more energy-efficient than appliances with an A+++ rating. It features BioFresh safes and two completely separate cooling units (“duo-cooling”) for the refrigerator and freezer compartments. This allows precise, independent temperature control. There is no exchange of air between the two zones, so doors are kept in check and food does not dry out. Special “SmartFrost” technology greatly reduces frost buildup on food and reduces the need for defrosting the appliance. The interior walls of the freezer compartment are extremely smooth and easy to clean. LEDs in an attractively designed lighting element located on the ceiling of the refrigerator compartment ensure optimal illumination of contents. The BioFresh drawers on telescopic rails close flush with the walls of the appliance and can be removed for cleaning when the door is opened to a 90° angle.
