MacAudio's Reference 2.1 DSP is far more than an amplifier. The extremely powerful 2-channel power amp offers not only up to 2 x 750 watts but, above all, has an integrated signal processor that allows sensitive adjustments to the complex acoustics of a vehicle. The parametric equaliser with 31 bands per channel can be configured conveniently via PC software or, using the supplied display remote control, directly from the listening position. The preamp output for connecting a subwoofer amplifier has a further parametric equaliser with 11 bands. Added to this are time alignment, phase inversion and inputs for high-level and digital signals. In operation, 5 settings can be recalled conveniently from memory – a dream for every ambitious music fan in the car.
