The CD-player hasn’t played out yet as a source for high-quality music performance. The remote-controllable Magnat MCD 1050 is the living proof for this claim. Thanks to its output stage equipped with carefully selected tube it delivers an enormous sound volume. The integrated D/A-converter can process up to 192 kHz/24 bit. This quality can also be used by another computer because the Magnat features digital inputs, among them USB. The CD-signal is up-sampled to 192 kHz/24 bit. In total, this leads to an outstanding sound result.
