The “Protection Airbag System by Mammut® convinces with its special air bag form and the integration into the respective ruck sacks. The air bag form protects the head, neck and breast area and prevents complete burial. In an avalanche, the “Protection Airbag System” creates an ideal position, because the head and upper body are kept at the surface by the use of the air bag. Additionally, the whole system can be easily and fully removed and exchanged.
