With the Medion Life X5520 the manufacturer wants to make clear that Medion stands for more than inexpensive and well-equipped entry-level devices. Accordingly, the 5.5-inch display set in a metal housing comes with Full HD resolution and edges rounded in 2.5D style. An eight-core processor, in which four cores each run at up to 1.4 and 1.1 GHz, four gigabytes of RAM and 64 gigabytes of flash memory guarantee far more than merely sufficient performance. So that all controls remain within reach on the large screen during one-handed use, Medion implemented a mode in which all content is shown reduced in one corner at the stroke of a finger. In this way all tasks can be handled comfortably on the go, right up to the cameras with their 13 and 5 megapixel resolutions.
