Nikon's consumer series with a sensor in APS-C format (crop 1.5) gains a new top model in the Nikon D7500. It benefits from the processing chain that already works outstandingly in the professional DSLR with an APS-C sensor, the D500. Its sensor resolves 20 megapixels, which are processed by the current image processor Expeed 5. Alongside a continuous shooting function accelerated to eight frames per second, the DSLR can also record 4K video with 3,840 x 2,160 pixels at 30 fps. Thanks to an enlarged buffer, up to 50 images in RAW mode and up to 100 in JPG format thus reach the memory card in one burst. On the back of the body, protected against dust and splash water, hangs a tilting 3.2-inch touchscreen with 922,000 pixels.
