Modern integrated amplifiers are control centers which need to be able to process signals from vinyl players as well as from CD players or computers. The Perreaux Audiant 80i offers a discreet design and an excellent manufacturing quality. It successfully does the splits between analogue and digital signals, because it features a USB-B input for music from the computer as well as a well-sounding phono input. Its excellent sound comes from a preamplifier which works in class A and a power amplifier equipped with Mosfet transistors, generating massive 175 W consumption at four Ohm. In addition, the boards are mounted at the cover of the casing for decoupling.
