As a separate appliance the Unold Ofen Electronic is cleverer than many larger counterparts commonly housed in a fitted kitchen. Its electronics can be controlled so precisely that even yoghurt and yeast are handled reliably and something delicious can emerge. The set temperatures for top and bottom heat are shown by LEDs in the rotary controls. The 1,800-watt appliance offers a 36-litre cooking space in which tins up to 30 cm in size can be accommodated. Thanks to a timer running up to 120 minutes you can gratinate, grill – on the rotisserie too – and bake; with what used to be described simply as a grill, you can do so much more today.
