With the “Snowstrike Variotronic”, the brand uvex presents the first ski goggles with integrated LCD technology. In fractions of a second the visor adapts fully automatically – or manually if desired – to the light conditions and thus ensures the best vision in any terrain. The tint is made possible by driving millions of tiny liquid crystals in the lens. Through electrical voltage, these crystals are polarised differently as required. The integrated battery guarantees around 30 hours of use and can be recharged via a mini USB connection. The “Snowstrike Variotronic” also offers one hundred per cent protection from UVA, UVB and UVC radiation and, thanks to a special coating on the inside and draught-free ventilation, stays fog-free in all weather conditions.
