As a smartphone in the 5.5-inch class, the Vestel Reys is to be positioned in the upper segment of the manufacturer's Venus V4 family. Above all, materials and workmanship are meant to make clear at first sight and first touch that this is a high-quality product. For this a 2.5D touchscreen with rounded edges was fitted into a metal unibody. In order not to impair the reception of mobile radio signals, elaborate measures were taken to reduce the conductivity of the chassis. The front plastic frame holding the glass panel of the touchscreen contributes to this too. Glass and the surfaces matted by sandblasting underline the visual impression, and the latter also ensures that the smartphone sits well in the hand. In addition, during development Vestel paid attention to easy repairability and the recyclability of raw materials and components.
