It was already electrifying as a combustion engine model and an offshoot of the Beetle: the VW Buggy. Now the Volkswagen ID. Buggy returns as a reincarnation on the latest strategic MEB generation – electrified, open, waterproof, friendly, powerful and exciting.

• 150 kW/204 hp and 310 Nm take it to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds
• 18-inch tyres in 255 and 283 mm widths
• floating GRP body
• modular electric drive matrix (MEB) as a basis allows construction by any manufacturer
• 240 mm of ground clearance and robust construction
• a modern interpretation of a classic without retro affectations
• potential for all-wheel drive through a second motor at the front
