The Volkswagen Variant combines perfect manufacturing and exclusive materials with a timeless inside and outside design. In addition, it features an outstandingly large package of meaningful assistance systems, such as the traffic jam assistant and pedestrian recognition up to Emergency Assist, which is able to keep the car on track in a medical emergency and bring it to a stop. Communication with the driver works by the very detailed Active Info Display, a digital combination display in the cockpit, opening up completely new opportunities for visualization. Car-Net brings the web into the car, and Mirror-Link allows operating the smart phone easily and to a maximum extend of security while driving.
