These are the best retailers of 2022
In a nationwide consumer survey, customers were able to vote for their favourite retailers. Forty-eight retailers have now been recognised with the PLUS X AWARD seal “Germany's best retailer 2022” for the highest general satisfaction.
Unlike the PLUS X AWARD's familiar procedure based on the judgement of an industry-neutral, independent expert jury, the award “Germany's best retailer” rests on a consumer survey. On behalf of the PLUS X AWARD, the German Institute for Product and Market Research surveyed a total of 8,058 women and men from all federal states aged between 20 and 65 up to 7 February 2022. The result represents the direct opinion of end consumers and is thus a clear indicator of outstanding retail performance.
“Since the beginning of 2020 the coronavirus pandemic has influenced economic life worldwide. Nevertheless many retailers manage to meet the pandemic situation creatively and innovatively and to give end consumers a pleasant shopping experience. It is precisely this inventiveness in bricks-and-mortar retail that – as the award also makes clear – remains an indispensable pillar of our economy and brings its added value all the more clearly to the fore: as a mediator between brands and end customers.
