It‘ back again. With the Borgward BX7, the German traditional brand in Chinese hands once again in a market segment which is probably the most appreciated of modern times. But even carholics and petrolheads need to look twice: Apart from a few style elements like the broadest shoulders in this car class, the design of the modern SUV with its octagon grille and the dynamic lines doesn’t resemble Isabella and Co. any more. Also, below its skin a lot is much different than 50 years ago: a 12.3 inch large touch screen for the Infotainment, Onboard W-LAN, connected driving with the Borgward B-Link, Night Vision and 360-degree camera system are state-of-the-art. Large, widely opening doors give access to a generous interior. Besides a full E-version there will be a Plug-in-Hybrid, both of which offer the opportunity to control each of the four wheels individually.
