The Fakir Robert robot vacuum can confuse visitors when the answer to the question of who does the vacuuming is a first name that does not actually belong to anyone in the family. On one battery charge, Robert works on floors of every kind for two hours with a rubber roller with a beating function and a brush roller. As it travels through the home, sensors prevent the 9.5-centimetre-high robot from falling down stairs or bumping into furniture and objects. A virtual barrier can be used to block off areas that are not to be vacuumed at a particular time. When the battery runs low, Robert drives to the charging station of its own accord and draws new fuel from the socket within three to four hours.
