From the jury's assessment
Small two-way speakers made these Britons famous: in the tradition of the LS3/5 A, the KEF LS50 Wireless is once again a milestone among compact two-way loudspeakers. Behind the strikingly anodised Uni-Q system with a 13 cm magnesium/aluminium bass-midrange driver, at whose centre a 25 mm aluminium dome finds its place, sits elaborate electronics for the processing and amplification of analogue and digital signals of every kind. These can arrive by analogue cable, by Bluetooth from suitable sources or over the wireless or wired network. From the record player to the internet radio or television station, everything benefits from the software processed in bi-amping fashion with two output stages. Two power sockets are enough for installation: the two speakers couple wirelessly and can be controlled on the cabinet itself or from a smartphone.
