It is descended from a legend: the KEF Muo takes up the design of a sculpture from a floorstanding flagship, because the acoustically transparent part of its front is shaped like the exalted Muon from the same house. No wonder, because the designer of these small portable speakers for Bluetooth operation is none other than Ross Lovegrove, who also designed the Muon. At three points the number two comes into play: up to two mobile music sources can be coupled to the Muo via NFC and Bluetooth aptX, and two Muo units couple automatically on request into a powerful stereo pair. And then there are two Uni-Q drivers of 50 mm diameter, at the centre of which a tweeter rounds off the sound at the top. Bass frequencies are given a lift by a passive radiator likewise 50 mm in size.
