Induction cookers typically share the same elegant feature of a dark, smooth cooking surface, but the Küppersbusch EKID 9940.0RL adds an intriguing surprise effect – an exhaust extractor built right into the centre draws fumes and smells directly from the air surrounding the pots. Each side of the induction cooking zones can be combined for large pots or fryers, or serve smaller pots individually the next moment. The four cooking zones and the four-stage fume extractor can be conveniently controlled by sensor buttons. A residual heat indicator warns users against areas that are still too hot – and simultaneously shows where enough residual heat remains to be used.
