Linear D, the new Lehmannaudio headphone amplifier, comprises one coaxial, optical and analogue socket each. Additionally, there is a preamp RCA socket which can deliver to power amplifiers or active speakers. On the front panel, there are two 6.3 millimetre jack sockets. The maximum gain of 10, 18 or 20 decibels can be selected via DIP switches at the bottom of the amplifier. The right factor can be found easily as the smooth-running pots allow you to select the range comfortably. The amplifier rests on especially designed feet to ensure reliable acoustic decoupling. The Linear D’s neutral and authentic sound pattern is certainly great evidence of Norbert Lehmann’s professional qualifications as a sound engineer.
