The ADAM carries the multiple award-winning Opel design philosophy, which combines sculptural shapes with German engineering, into the trendy A segment. Its innovative character is underscored by its modern, bold and original appearance. With its powerful proportions – 3.7 meters long and 1.72 meters wide – the ADAM hugs the road well. Unlike most other cars, the ADAM displays its nameplate in chrome in the rear section, underneath the roof design line on the C pillar, which places added emphasis on its unique personality. The middle of the large radiator grill features the new, wing-shaped chrome buckle with its prominent brand symbol, which was introduced with the new Astra family. There are numerous Open design elements visible on the side of the vehicle – the crescent-shaped crease on the lower part of the door area and the dynamically swooping “shock waves” around the door handles are reminiscent of the Astra GTC. The daytime-running headlights are the arrow-shaped, which is also typical for Opel. For the first time in the A segment, they and the rear lights take advantage of the latest energy-saving LED technology.
