As the first shuttle system for the direct storage of hanging garments, the Stingray HG takes a pioneering role in the industry. The vehicle docks onto the rack to the millimetre, with high precision and without a gap, so that hangers can glide smoothly onto the shuttle. During the actual storage and retrieval by telescope, the goods are secured by the hanger during transport. All process steps of sensors and actuators that permit it are parallelised and time-optimised in the control system. To ensure reliable communication, TGW relies on power-LAN communication. The control signal is modulated directly onto the conductor rail responsible for the power supply.
