Plus X Award honours 24 companies with the award “Germany's best retailer 2016”

The Plus X Award, the world's largest innovation prize for technology, sport & lifestyle, awards not only its seven established seals for Innovation, High Quality, Design, Ease of use, Functionality, Ergonomics and Ecology but also, at regular intervals, special awards in order to draw attention to particular achievements by brands and companies.

With the award “Germany's best retailer 2016”, the Plus X Award rewards for the first time the retailers that achieved the highest general customer satisfaction. On the Plus X Award's online presence, a total of 7,078 valid votes were counted during the two-month campaign period. Based on this survey, 24 retailers were recognised with the quality seal “Germany's best retailer 2016”.

“Looking at today's market situation, and in particular the constantly growing range of products and purchasing options, a strong, swift focus on what the customer wants has the highest priority. Parameters such as the range offered, quality, infrastructure, customer-oriented service and attractive pricing are important preconditions for the highest customer satisfaction. Here the market landscape has developed very positively in the end consumer's favour in recent years. As a project for protecting and strengthening the brand and retail, we now want to use the quality seal ‘Germany's best retailer 2016' to put the spotlight on precisely those retailers that take these influencing factors into account and stand out through the highest customer satisfaction,” says Donat Brandt, President of the Plus X Award.

Besides the established Plus X Award quality seal, all recognised companies receive their award certificates at the great Plus X Award Night 2016 on 23 June 2016 in the plenary chamber of the first German Bundestag in Bonn.
