Its special shock-freezing compartment freezes food three times faster than normal, which more effectively preserves vitamins and minerals. With 335 liters of storage capacity, the extraordinarily energy-efficient appliance (rated A+++) optimally stores large quantities of food. When the special shock freeze compartment is activated, the temperature sinks quickly to -23°C for four hours. Thanks to the rapid cooling, cell fluid is transformed into very small crystals of ice and there is no damage to cell walls. Taste, vitamins, color and succulence remain intact. After thawing, food looks just as fresh as when it came from the market – and tastes that way, too.
