For decades, Elac has a reputation for producing loud speakers that sound extremely well. The news is that with the AIR-X 407, no signal cable is needed any more for enjoying music. How does that work? The loud speaker hosts an AIR-X AMP amplifier unit which is provided with signals by the AIR-X BASE. Digital and analogue source devices are connected here. The lossless digital transmission of the audio signal to the loud speakers is done with a resolution of 24 Bit and a sampling rate of 48 kHz. Within the speaker, the signal is converted and amplified into a total of 225 W. The result is a dynamic playback, creating acoustic delight together with transparency and best resolution.
