The dp1 Quattro is the wide-angle version of the legendary dp-series from Sigma. All cameras, which have been uncompromisingly designed to deliver ideal optical results. This starts with the distortion free lens and goes to the proven Foveon-sensor, which imitates the classical colour film in its structure, because the colour layers above each other are able to effectively capture all shades and colours of the image for the nearly 30 million pixels. The lens with nine elements in eight groups correspond with the 35 mm format. For the control of the camera, all variations from full automatics to all manual settings are possible. Users can thus take the spontaneous snapshot as well as the perfectly well stage-managed shot. The developers have packed all this in a unique, remarkable design, which makes the Sigma dp1 stand out even from the distance.
