With the “p1us pro“ Uvex proves its high ambition for quality combined with latest design. The newly developed ski helmet concept, which is produced in hardshell technology in the own Uvex factory in Germany, allows saving up to 15% of weight compared to traditional thermoplastics. In addition, the extremely lightweight and thin shell material offers the same mechanical strength as standard helmet shells made of ABS. By the new material mix it is also more cold-stable. Needless to say that the “p1us pro“ by Uvex complies with both standards for ski helmets EN 1077B / ASTM F 2040.
